But our response to the massive Nepal earthquake is far from over. Oxfam is in Nepal for the long haul.

Some quick highlights from our work done on the ground in Nepal.

  • 419,249 people supported
  • 46,929 emergency and improved shelter kits provided
  • 47,409 hygiene kits distributed
  • 6,904 latrines installed
  • 35,000+ people benefitted from chlorinated water distribution
  • 24,640 farmers supplied with rice seeds to plant before the monsoon
  • 7,024 emergency food baskets provided

Oxfam is working in five districts in Nepal -- Kathmandu valley, Dhading, Gorkha, Nuwakot, Sindhupalchok.
